BAPTISMAL PREPARATION
Members assist with Baptismal Seminars and Baptisms scheduled approximately ten times per year. Training is provided. For more information, contact Deacon Joe Scimeca or Ms. Tokesha Collins at 225-278-3236.

PARISH MISSION
Volunteers assist in all areas of the annual or semi-annual parish mission including planning, transportation, nursery, greeters, escorts, and servers at the reception. You may indicate a preference. Minimum age is 14. For more information, contact Parish Office.

PRAYER LINE
Members spend time praying daily for special intentions. Involvement requires members to call two or three other members to relay requests for prayer. All calls are done from their own home. For more information, contact Mrs. Jennifer Doucet.

PARISH SCHOOL OF RELIGION (P.S.R.)
*Teachers and volunteers provide religious education during the school year for public school students in first through eleventh grade. Training is is provided for various tasks, such as teaching, copying materials, speaking to classes, helping with receptions for Confirmation, etc. Teachers must be 18 or older and confirmed Catholics. R.C.I.A. CATECHUMENATE SPONSORS
Sponsors serve as a friend and guide to those preparing for membership in the Church through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults,. Sponsors commit themselves to accompany one Catechumen (candidate) throughout their journey and to attend Sunday morning sessions from 9:00-10:45. Formation is provided. Must be a confirmed, adult Catholic. For more information, contact Father Paul McDuffie.

RESPECT LIFE COMMITTEE
Members strive to raise the consciousness of the parish on life issues that impact the Christian community. Through prayer, education and political action, the committee encourages personal involvement in restoring the respect for all life. For more information, contact Mrs. Dee Dee Culotta.

SMALL COMMUNITY FAITH SHARING
Small community groups study and discuss the sacred Scriptures. Adult participants gather regularly in parishioner homes or in parish meeting rooms. Various times, dates and locations are available. Minimum age is 18. For more information, contact Parish Office.

VOCATIONS
Individuals who work toward increasing awareness of the need for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. For more information, contact Mr. Todd Pourciau.
