Baptism
Welcome to the Church
Baptism is "the basis of the whole Christian life" (CCC 1213). You may be awaiting the birth of your child, have a newborn, or a a child several months or years old. Regardless of the stage of parenthood you are in, you have been entrusted with a great gift from God. In your role as a parent, you serve as the first (and more influential) teacher of your child's faith.
To get started with scheduling your child's Baptism, please contact Deacon Clayton Hollier. We look forward to accompanying you as you bring your child into our Catholic faith!
“Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitae spiritualis ianua), and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: “Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word.”
