An ACTS Retreat is a parish-based event which offers parishioners an opportunity to experience the love of Jesus Christ. This in turn fosters a desire for intentional discipleship. ACTS Retreats are given by parishioners for parishioners, and in this way, serve to build Christian community at the parish. At Sacred Heart, the Women's annual ACTS Retreat is held in the fall (typically the first or second weekend of October) and the Men's annual ACTS Retreat is held in the spring (typically in February or March).

  • What is the Retreat Experience?

    The ACTS Retreat begins Thursday evening at the Tracy Center and ends with Sunday Mass at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Utilizing prayer, service, and teaching, the ACTS Retreat meets people where they are in their spiritual journey and invites them to experience God in a manner that is both personal and communal.

  • How do I sign-up?

    Applications for each retreat opens about a month-or-so prior to the retreat date. Space is limited to 36 retreatants and the total retreat cost is $325. If more than 36 apply, the names will be placed in a drawing. If your name is selected, the retreat fee made payable to Sacred Heart Church (Women’s/Men's ACTS in memo) will be required to hold your spot.  If your name is not drawn, applicants are put on a waitlist and will be called if a space becomes available.

  • When is the next ACTS Retreat

    Women's Fall 2026 ACTS Retreat: October 8 - 11, 2026

    Men's Spring 2027 ACTS Retreat: February 18 - 21, 2027

  • What if I've already been on an ACTS Retreat?

    All former ACTS Retreatants are invited to serve as Team members on future retreats. Applications for the Team positions open ahead of the retreat and information is shared via Flocknote.

Married Couple's Retreat
