The Dorothy Day Café operates on the campus of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church inside The Underground Hub, alongside Vagabond Missions’ youth outreach and the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry. Together, these ministries create an opportunity to share Jesus with our neighborhood community.

The Café is a visible, consistent neighborhood “front porch” -- a safe place where anyone can stop by for free coffee, conversation, and connection to resources. It provides a comfortable space for our community to gather in fellowship and encourage one another to “do good deeds” for our neighbors.

Located at 2279 Main Street, across the street from the Parish Office, the Café is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 9:30 am, staffed by volunteers.

Non-perishable food donations and hygiene products can be accepted during café hours or you can shop our Amazon wish list.
